Fresh Creamy Cashew Cheese Bruschetta with basil, sun dried tomatoes, and drizzled olive oil

Yesterday I had such a great time working with the Lauren from the Food Empowerment Project and Maria, from Vallejo Together. I was also privileged to meet with Master Chief Petty Officer for the U.S. Coast Guard - Chef Kipp Rice with whom I will be working for the Vallejo Healthy Food Fest. So many things are coming together, and that's exciting. But mostly I am so glad to be getting involved with some great community outreaches. Food really does matter. With just a few changes to your recipes you can make choices that can impact your life and make for a better body. I shared some simple nibbles. I think they like them.
