The day turned out stormy. There was lots of rain. Although I consider myself to be so much better health wise than I was 2 years ago - it's days like today that make me realize I need to pay attention to what my body is telling me. When the barometric pressure is low - I still get the most awful pain. The thing is - now that I am vegan and filling my body with all kinds of great nutrition there is a difference. It doesn't take forever to bounce back. And I can handle the pain myself without having to take all the medications I was on before. That in itself is the most wonderful blessing to me. After I had been in bed for a while today I was able to get up and enjoy my kitchen. I got some Seitan steaks out of the freezer that I made last week, made a quick BBQ sauce, and some coleslaw, and made a great hot BBQ sandwich.
